Dione Owers studied art and design at Falmouth College of Art and art history with the Open University. Her passions are for life drawing, landscapes and an abstract interpretation of the two. After 20 years exhibiting in Cornwall, Kent and London she established Art Gallery Upstairs in Deal on the Kent coast to realise a dream of producing and selling her own and other artists' work to the public at affordable prices. The gallery has become a platform for well known, established professionals as well as gifted up-and-coming students and represents a wide range of art by some of the best in the country including paintings, limited edition prints, photography, ceramics, bronze sculptures, driftwood, exclusively designed jewellery, handbags and lamps from a team of in-house designers. She also has an interesting collection of life drawings and paintings.

Dione currently represents 40 artists but as the gallery's reputation grows new ones are approaching all the time to have their art included in the collection.
