Using abstract notions of the horizontal and vertical in nature John creates fascinating pieces that stand, or hang on the wall. Maintaining their original organic form John's abstract sculptures incorporate random beach findings as well as shells sometimes used in a humourous elusive context suggestive of the human condition.
